Why People Don’t Use Airbnb Anymore?

Airbnb is a great way to find a place to stay when traveling, and it’s more affordable than hotels. But when it comes down to it, people don’t like using Airbnb—and here’s why.

  • Airbnb Doesn’t Feel Like a Safe Choice
  • Check-in and Check-out Can Be a Pain
  • Lack of Amenities and Customer Service
  • There’s Isn’t Luggage Storage

Airbnb Doesn’t Feel Like a Safe Choice

Airbnb is a great way to get the experience of living like a local while traveling.

But, Airbnb doesn’t feel like a safe choice when it comes to safety.

It’s easy to find yourself where you have no idea who is renting out the property you booked. And if something goes wrong, there’s no real way to verify that they’re who they say they are.

And even if you do get lucky and book with someone who looks like their photo, there’s still no guarantee that they’re not going to do something shady.

Check-in and Check-out Can Be a Pain

Check-in and check-out can be a pain while you are using Airbnb. You have to find someone to meet you, or they have to let themselves in. You have to wait for them to get there, and then they may not be able to get in at all.

The problem with this is that most people aren’t home when you are trying to check-in or out. So you have to wait until the next day, which means staying somewhere else for another night. This can cost you more money than it would if everything worked smoothly.

Lack of Amenities and Customer Service

The lack of all the extras, like a gym, spa, onsite restaurant, room service, and toiletries, makes holiday apartment rentals more appealing. The only problem is that these amenities are often unavailable or not working properly.

This is why it is important to check reviews from other guests who have stayed in the apartment before you booked it. This will help you avoid any potential problems with your booking and give you peace of mind that you have made the right decision when choosing an apartment rental for your trip away.

There’s Isn’t Luggage Storage

This one isn’t necessarily a holiday apartment deal-breaker, but it is something to consider when planning your holiday.

Luggage storage is a great way to get around your luggage if you want to explore the city without carrying it with you. You can leave your bags at the apartment and come back later if you need to.

Some hotels offer this service, but it’s less common with Airbnb apartments. If there isn’t any luggage storage at an Airbnb apartment, make sure you have somewhere else in mind to leave your bags safely while you are out exploring!
